With our specialist equipment, we can travel from our base at Ilkeston in Derbyshire to virtually any location in the UK and sandblast your design at your premises - no need to worry about transporting fragile frames of glass to our studio.

We've sandblasted a host of wonderful projects all over the country - including art installations and stunning decorative designs - at all sort of locations, using our clever vinyl stencil system.

Sandblasting windows or doors with a striking corporate logo or dazzling design can provide an impressive look, but sandblasting can also provide an added safety feature.

Since 1992, building regulations have insisted that all low level safety glass must carry some sort of permanent manifestation to reduce the risk of people accidentally walking into it. 

Our on-site sandblasting service means we can travel to your premises to etch a suitable permanent manifestation which will comply with current regulations.

Our machinery is compact and the amount of grit lost is minimal so we won't disturb you too much - all we need is a 240 volt electricity supply close to the areas to be etched.

Welcome to Richard Raithby's Creative Glass Studios, one of the UK's leading names in stunning decorative designs and manifestations on glass.

Established in 1987, we are one of the few British companies still carrying out the time-honoured Victorian technique of acid etching on glass. We also specialise in the highly skilled art of sandblasting - it doesn't matter how complicated or intricate an image is, we can reproduce it to stunning effect on glass.

We also have an extensive library of stock patterns and designs in our online catalogue which can be transferred onto glass through sandblasting or acid etching methods.

Based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, our designs can be seen in homes, offices, shops , pubs, clubs and leisure developments all over the country.

We also offer a unique on-site sandblasting service - with our specialist equipment, we can travel to virtually any address in the country and sandblast a design, text or even a simple manifestation which might be needed for privacy or safety purposes.
